Simple elegance

We got a call for a pretty yellow cake to celebrate a woman's 60th birthday. Her favourite colour was yellow and she loved calla lilies.

We kept it simple by covering the cake in a soft yellow fondant and adding a quilted effect, with white dragée pearls. Then, we added the calla lilies. For an added touch of elegance, Joanne added draping fondant "fabric" over the cake. It was her first time trying out this technique, but it turned out really well.

The cake is Sachin's Limoncello cake, with Limoncello glaze and Limoncello buttercream. It's fresh, light and delicious; perfect for spring and summer!

· Cream Cheese Frosting (plain, strawberry or Blueberry)
· Limoncello Buttercream (contains 2tbsps of alcohol)
· Lemon Zest Buttercream
· Maple Buttercream
· Orange Buttercream
· Peanut Butter-Buttercream
· Vanilla Buttercream

Step three: Pick your filling
· Chocolate Ganache – Add $5
· Fresh Fruit – Add $5
· Marzipan – Add $5
· Mousse (strawberry, raspberry, chocolate, mango) – Add $7

Step Four: Pick your toppers (for cupcakes)
If you are working with a theme, we can also create custom toppers made from fondant to suit your event.

All toppers are included in the price!

A variety of other toppers are also available from chocolate covered coffee beans to toasted almonds. We would be happy to chat about combinations with you to find what will work best.
